Business
The etymology (the origin of a word and the historical development of its meaning) of "business" relates to the state of being busy, either as an individual or society as a whole, doing commercially viable and profitable work.The owners and operators of a business have as one of their main objectives the receipt or generation of a financial return in exchange for work and acceptance of risk.
Economics
Economics is the management of what your ‘busy-ness’ has generated and how it is to be used Definition of Economics:
The science of household affairs, or of domestic management.
Economics is the social science that studies the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services. The term economics comes from the Ancient Greek οἰκονομία (oikonomia, "management of a household, administration") from οἶκος (oikos, "house") + νόμος (nomos, "custom" or "law"), hence "rules of the house(hold)".
A definition that captures much of modern economics is that of Lionel Robbins in a 1932 essay:
"... the science which studies human behaviour as a relationship between ends and scarce means which have alternative uses."
Scarcity means that available resources are insufficient to satisfy all wants and needs. Absent of scarcity and alternative uses of available resources there is no economic problem! The subject thus defined involves the study of choices as they are affected by incentives and resources.
A flawed system
The basis of our business life and business function is predominated by a system (economics) established to serve the needs, desires and goals of the man creature in the habit of serving himself. (Romans 1:20-25)
The church and the church going Christian has been guilty of fostering an attitude of ‘being spiritual in church,’ and then living life to serve the man creature with the remaining available time and energy.
God is now educating us “changing our knowledge base” ‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…’ Hosea 4:6 so that we can live in the knowledge of God’s ways and experience the results God wants for us!
The Results?
John 10:10 ‘…I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.’

Matthew 6:33 …But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you … ‘Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don't worry about missing out. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met. ‘The message’
3 John 2 …Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.
Philippians 4:19 … And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
The Result is God’s order of doing things and the supply that follows is limitless.
Some would call this ‘The Kingdom of God!’ I simply call it the return of God’s ways in and through His people.
